This popular rare discontinued engine lid is commonly known in the mr2 community as the fastback/hatchback/f40 style/ask sport lid. It significantly enhances airflow by directing air from the side vents and underbody out through the rear, and also improves rear-end stability as well as coming with a list of other benefits. By smoothing the airflow over the top of the SW20 and across the engine lid, it also significantly increases efficiency, rear end stability, minimizes turbulence, drag, and lift as well as enhances the effectiveness of the rear spoiler
