Founder Story

MR2Heaven started from being completely wrapped up in these cars.

We were enthusiasts first. The MR2 wasn’t just something we owned it was what we spent all our time on. We were living and breathing it every day. Working on them, driving them, talking about them, trying to find parts for them. That was just our routine.

Most of that time was spent sourcing parts and parting out cars. That was the only way to keep things going. We’d track down cars wherever we could, tear them down, and hold onto anything usable. Rain or shine, it didn’t really matter, if there was a car to go through, we were out there.

That was all we knew at the time.

The community was always there, and people cared about these cars, but getting the right parts was a constant problem. Things were getting discontinued, good replacements were hard to come by, and a lot of people were dealing with the same issues over and over again.

So without really planning it, it started turning into something more.

At first it was just helping people out with parts we had. Then it became sourcing more, staying organized, and trying to actually keep up with what people needed. After that, it turned into making parts ourselves because some of the things we kept running into just weren’t available anymore, or weren’t good enough.

Everything we do now comes from that time. It’s based on actually being in it every day working on these cars, taking them apart, and seeing what holds up and what doesn’t.

MR2Heaven has grown a lot since then, but the foundation is still the same.

It came from putting in the time, doing the work, and being part of this community from the start.

And that’s still what drives it now.
